Hey everyone,
We have some exciting news to share! What started as a local website for Albany has now expanded to include two more wonderful communities: Lebanon and Sweet Home. We’re thrilled to welcome our neighbors into the fold, and with this growth comes the need for a fresh, inclusive name that represents all three cities.
And that’s where you come in! We know how creative and insightful our community members are, so we’re turning to you for help. We want a name that captures the essence of Albany, Lebanon, and Sweet Home—a name that reflects the unique charm, spirit, and unity of our cities.
Here are a few guidelines to get you started:
- Inclusive: The name should represent all three cities equally.
- Catchy and Memorable: Something easy to remember and spell.
- Reflective of Our Values: Think about what makes our communities special—our history, nature, culture, and the people.

- Heart of the Valley
- Tri-City Treasures
- Explore Oregon
But we know you can come up with even better names! Drop your suggestions in the comments below or at Google Form. We’ll be accepting suggestions for the next two weeks, after which we’ll narrow it down to a few top choices and put it to a community vote.
The person who submits the winning name will receive a $25 gift card(Google Form) to a local business of their choice and, of course, bragging rights for naming our new community website!
